prevail very extensively throughout Reports of sporadic cases and small out-
breaks are still received from the districts mentioned in issue.
Tlio disease appears to liuve subsided in
our
last
Orissa, but its existence is reported from Sylliet, Cherrapoonjee, and Kamroop. Cases continue to bo reported by tlio police in the districts of Benares, Allahabad, and Jounpore, and there was a very slight outbreak (3 cases) in the 1st N. I. at Goruckpore, between tlio 21st and 23rd of April. The disease appears to have subsided in the Central Provinces. A few deaths have been registered in the Punjab, but it docs not follow that they were caused by genuine cholera.
