Objective: To compare the levels of physical activity (PA) assessed with questionnaires

(the Leisure Time Physical Activity Instrument [LTPAI] and the Physical Activity at

4

Home and Work Instrument [PAHWI]) and accelerometry in fibromyalgia patients; and

5

analyse the test-retest reliability of these questionnaires.

Design: Cross-sectional study.

7

Setting: A local Association of fibromyalgia patients from Southern Spain.

8

Participants: 99 participants (5 men) with fibromyalgia aged 50.2±9.5.

Interventions: Not applicable.

Main outcome measures: Participants carried an accelerometer for 1 week and

completed the LTPAI and PAHWI twice (separated by 1-week interval). LTPAI and

PAHWI were summed to obtain overall values of PA.
