I observed some small birds perched upon the open tops of water bottles in the verandah of a Dak-Bungalow, and speculated on the result of water contaminated by probable droppings. This brought to uiind a letter or paper in which this idea of bird-droppings was given as a cause of malignant cholera. I shall be much obliged to you, or any of your readers, to be so kind as to tell me where 1 may find mention of this matter. I am,
