Although venous aneurysms occur most commonly in the neck and thoracic veins, they also have been reported in the extremities. Iliac vein aneurysms are rare vascular anomalies; they are classified as primary aneurysm of

unknown cause in the majority of the cases or, when a cause could be identified, as secondary iliac vein aneurysm. We present a 54-year-old asymptomatic woman in whom a right external iliac vein aneurysm was incidentally found during the retroperitoneal node dissection for the management of a Federation Internationale de Gynecologie et d’Obstetrique grade 3 adenocarcinoma of the endometrium (Figs. 1 and 2).
