Greetings from Bangalore, India Times have been changing and so do we have changed too. The change thus brought was for the betterment of our well reputed and respected society – Dentistry. We had a long journey to deal till our hard pitched token of many years was appreciated by readers and authors. The due consideration for which was received and taken the publication a step ahead. It gives me immense pleasure to write this welcome note to all my readers and authors to celebrate this beautiful juncture where “Journal of International Oral Health (JIOH)” is moving to a better phase with its first issue being indexed in Pubmed Central. We call it as “An Epistolize Caricature for Oral Scribers”.

Dr. Shankargouda Patil Editor-in-Chief, Journal of International Oral Health

Today I speak with great pleasure and ecstasy to introduce this issue of JIOH to the Dental Fraternity. It is a journal aimed for research, scientific facts and details covering all specialties of dentistry with a good determination for exploring and sharing the knowledge in the medical and dental fraternity. The scope is therefore huge covering almost all streams of dentistry – starting from original studies in epidemiology, behavioral sciences and health service research. Our journal appreciates research articles pertaining with advancement of dentistry. This issue covers the variety and being an Open Access Journal provides the opportunity to many readers to view the script without any bar. I congratulate all our authors who have submitted their valuable research with due consent for publication at this issue of JIOH. Also, I welcome my peers throughout the globe to submit their work for consideration at JIOH. At last, I do remember the famous poet Robert Frost with his encouraging and enlightening thoughts which keeps myself and my team committed throughout. I close the note with these words which would definitely enlighten the readers as well and motivate them to continuously develop desired facts for the progress of our branch. “The woods are lovely, dark and deep but I have promises to keep And miles to go before I sleep And miles to go before I sleep” Thanks & Regards, Editor-in-Chief, Journal of International Oral Health
