EDITORIAL Letter from the Editor Dear fellows of the college, I hope that you have started the new year with plenty of energy and enthusiasm. As experts in the field our goal is to continue to provide our patients with the best wound care to help them heal and improve their quality of life. Our journal provides you with the latest technology and clinical reports to help you achieve this goal. This issue will mark the last hard copy of the journal. The following issues will only be posted online. You will be receiving the needed information from the college administration to help you get access to the online version of the journal. Also, for a little cost to the authors the accepted manuscripts will be posted on Pub Med Central after publication which will give more visibility to the authors. On October 28, 2016 the college will be holding the 6th annual symposium on advancing the standards in wound care and hyperbaric medicine at Sinclair Community College in Dayton Ohio. We are excited to report that for the

first time SALSAL (save a leg save a life) foundation will be joining the college in this educational activity. We anticipate the participation of world class speakers who will be presenting on the latest in wound care. CME and CEU credits will be offered to the participants. Shortly you will be receiving the complete educational program along with the information for registration and lodging. Dr. Tammy Lauttrel will be finishing her term as chair of the college and Dr. Don Mrdjenovitch will assume her position. I would like to thank Dr. Lauttrel for her service as chair and wish Dr. Mrdjenovitch good luck going forward. I would also like to thank my colleagues from the board of directors for their continued service to the college. Finally I would like to wish you all a healthy and productive year.
