Dear Sir, In reference to the retraction of the article entitled, ‘‘Phenolic composition, antioxidant properties, and endothelial cell function of red and white cranberry fruit’’ [Food Chem. 157 (2014) 540– 552], we wish to make clear that the article was submitted for publication without either the expressed knowledge or permission of any of the following co-authors: Joseph E. Jablonski, Lauren S. Jackson, Claire Chang, Indika Edirisinghe or Britt Burton-Freeman. As the ‘‘co-authors’’ were not involved with the writing of this paper and the paper was not reviewed by the supervisory chains
