Dear Sir, We were very much interested in the recent article by Lindenau et al. [I] about the beneficial effects of ketoacids on renal osteodystrophy. These authors observed a tendency towards normalization of cell histomorphometric parameters of bone biopsy in 22 patients with chronic renal failure 12 months after the administration of a ketoacid-supplemented diet.
