Nigeria. O B J E C T I V E : To determine the level of knowledge of medical students regarding the management of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). D E S I G N : Descriptive cross-sectional survey using a structured questionnaire on risk factors for COPD and some of the diagnostic criteria recommended by the Global Initiative for Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease (GOLD) and treatment options. R E S U LT S : Among 139 questionnaires analysed, the mean total score (maximum 14) was 8.35 ± 2.75.
