New member in the Executive Editorial Team

We welcome Maode Lai, (M.D.), Professor of Pathology at the Department of Pathology and Pathophysiology School of Medicine, Zhejiang University, P.R. China, as a new Executive Editor of Pathology Research and Practice. Prof. Maode Lai is one of the leading pathologists in China. He has been Director of the Institute of Pathology, Zhejiang Medical University since 1991 and the Director of Key Laboratory of Disease Proteomics, Zhejiang Province since 2009. His main research focuses on the molecular carcinogenesis of colorectal cancer. He established the national cooperative colorectal cancer research group and contributed significantly to the academic research and clinical application of colorectal cancer in China. Maode Lai, as a renowned pathologist from the P.R. China, is an outstanding catch for the journal.

Over the last several years, the number of manuscripts submitted by authors from the P.R. China has been constantly increasing. Now the highest share of manuscripts submitted to Pathology Research and Practice come from the P.R. China. The team of the executive editors and the publisher are very pleased that the increasing importance of manuscript submissions from the P.R. China for Pathology Research and Practice is now reflected by the membership of Maode Lai in the executive editorial team. With Maode Lai as Executive Editor, four more renowned pathologists from the P.R. China will take up work in the editorial board of the journal.
