New premises to provide an enhanced presence in New Zealand The College is pleased to announce a major commitment to New Zealand with the purchase of new premises for the RANZCP New Zealand National Office in Wellington. The current National Office space has for some time been unable to fully meet the College’s needs in New Zealand, and the College’s presence in New Zealand will be greatly enhanced from October 2014 with this landmark purchase. The RANZCP’s Board has recognised the importance of ensuring that the College is viewed as an expert leader within New Zealand’s mental health sector by Government, key agencies, media and the general public. The new National Office, located in central Wellington, and gives appropriate recognition to New Zealand as one of the two nations that constitute the RANZCP. A new, high-quality College premises in New Zealand also brings a number of opportunities for members to engage with the College.
The new premises on Level 3, 11 Chews Lane, Wellington Central Aside from office space, the new National Office includes a variety of meeting spaces for members and committees, and will also be suitable for training activities, CME events, workshops and seminars which the
National Office has previously been unable to offer. Further details on the opening of the new National Office will be made available in the coming months.
