Results Papanicolaou (PAP) stain 7KHHVWURXVF\FOHSKDVHRIIHPDOHYLUJLQUDWVZDV determined as diestrous after using the PAP stain )LJ 5RXQGQXFOHDWHG HSLWKHOLDO FHOOVZHUHWKH PRVWDEXQGDQWFHOOW\SHREVHUYHGLQWKHVPHDUV.

The control group exhibited a follicular appearance depending on the phase of the cycle; in diestrous, only secondary follicles and fresh corpora lutea were seen.
