Restoration of a fractured anterior tooth

Carson Mader, DMD, MSD, Rockville, Md

In recent years, acid etch resin techniques have be come comm on methods of treating fractured an terior teeth. With these techniques, the missing por tion of the tooth is replaced with some type of re storative material. This paper describes an unusual case in which a fractured portion of tooth structure was restored to its original position to produce an esthetic and functional “ restoration.”
