Glare Retinalgia, or the neuralgia fchafc follows the exposure of the eyes to glare, is an affection which is very common in India, but which appears to attract very little attention from medical men. No one but a subject of this form of hyperesthesia can appreciate the misery that the hapless patient suffers. I have known of a young English gentleman in the East who, suffering from retinalgia, travelled many miles A 'careful examination to consult a Surgeon. of his fundus was made, and he was assured that there was nothing the matter with his eye.
