He was on Automated PD for end-stage renal failure related to diabetes and hypertensive disease. On examination, he was afebrile and his haemodynamic parameters were within normal limit. His abdomen was diffusely tender to palpation but there was no rebound tenderness and bowel sounds were present. The PD fluid was cloudy. And subsequent microscopy showed 350 × 106 (
