Thirty per cent of 50 consecutive patients with end stage renal disease were found to have vesicoureteral reflux. This evaluation is designed to uncover remediable diseases that might jeopardize the patients' post-transplant course (peptic ulcer disease, diverticular disease of the colon, dental caries, bladder outlet obstruction, vesicoureteral reflux and so forth). A cystogram and voiding_ cystourethrogram are included in the diagnostic study regardless of age and sex of the patient, diagnosis or time on dialysis. Cystoscopy is performed as indicated. RESULTS
