EDITORIAL Celebrate Orthopedic Research The Journal of Orthopedic Research has undergone many changes over the past 50 years and continues to metamorphose to accommodate new change and growth. I am pleased to announce important and exciting advances that we have been working on for the last few months. Many are in response to authors and readers’ needs and requests: all are designed to serve the orthopedic research community. The Journal of Orthopedic Research is the official Journal of the Orthopedic Research Society and as such holds a special, official, and highly esteemed place in the life of the orthopedic scientist. As we work diligently to increase the value of the Journal, access to publications, customer service, and ease of submission, we request that you honor the Journal by submitting your finest work so that The Journal continues to increase in value to the Society, the authors and the field of orthopedic research.
